Trove Way ("we," "our," or "us") provides a travel planning and budgeting application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

• Email address — used for account creation and login
• Name and profile photo — collected via Google or Apple Sign-In if you choose those login methods
• Authentication tokens — managed securely through Supabase

Trip & Itinerary Data

• Trip destinations, dates, and travel details
• Flight, hotel, transport, and activity schedules
• Budget and expense records (amounts, categories, currencies)
• Packing lists and checklist items

Location Data

• Device location — accessed only when you use location-based features (e.g., finding nearby places). Location is not tracked in the background.
• Search queries — city and place searches sent to Google Places API

Photos

• Photos you upload for trip covers are stored in our cloud storage (Supabase Storage)

Weather Data

• Your trip destinations are sent to the Open-Meteo API to retrieve weather forecasts. No personal information is included in these requests.
